The LSR 2019 will be held at Carshalton Rifle Club on September 28th.

 

SCSBRA Lightweight Sporting Rifle Open Meeting at Carshalton Rifle Club (address to be advised after application) Open to all LSR and Air Rifle shooters, including Sporter rifles, using telescopic, diopter or iron sights.

Please note that under NSRA rules for LSR competitions no specialist clothing is permitted other than a shooting glove, and that the maximum weight of the rifle, including a glove if worn, must not exceed 4.5kg.

St Marks Cup - for the title of Surrey LSR Open Champion - This is a 60 shot precision match. All competitors will shoot two details of 30 shots. 5 minutes is allowed for unlimited sighters then three sets of 10 shots with a limit of 10 minutes for each set of 10 shots. Entry is open to all, not limited to Surrey residents.

All competitors will be entered automatically to the Queen Elizabeth Trophy (individual) and Shield (Club teams of three) which are 'Name your own Start' competitions. Scores for cards 5 to 12 of the St Marks Cup will be used for those two competions. Individuals will choose their own start figure and Clubs will nominate team members on the day, before the individual shoots their cards. Details of the way the two competitions operate will be advised on the day. They are designed to be fun and to level the playing field between more and less accomplished shooters. There is no need to prepare for them.

Parking, Refreshments, Details, Air Refills and Pellets:

There is limited parking at the club on the day so competitors are advised to park on the road leading to the club. Tea and coffee will be available.

There are 6 shooting lanes and each competitor participates in 2 details. Details are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Air refills and pellets will be available at the Club but air rifle shooters MUST bring their own adaptors.

How to enter: The entry cost is £8.50 (which is for all three competitions). Click the TICKETS button to register and pay online. Spectators are free.

Juniors (aged under 21 on the date of the competition) receive 50% discount by entering the Promotional Code JUN before selecting the times that they wish to shoot.

Prizes: A Trophy will be presented to the Competition winners. Medals will be awarded to seniors in each class proportionate to entries received. The leading Junior will receive a medal. Presentations will take place at the County Dinner.
