The annual Leslie Williams 200 yard small bore rifle competition with a difference takes places on the Short Siberia range at Bisley Camp on Sunday 13th May.

There are individual and team competitions and its a very social event, particularly as teams co-operate with butt marking when they’re not shooting.

The entry form can be found here and entries close on 31 March 2018.

There are competitions in the morning and afternoon, so why not make a day of it, raise a club team and bring a BBQ or packed lunch and a tent or shelter? Surrey has an event shelter in case of inclement weather, so hopefully we’ve got it covered.

If you’re worried about the elevation for 200 yard shooting, don’t be, but do prepare. You’ll need a 4mm raiser block under your rear sight to sight in at your home range. The standard NSRA 25 yard sighter includes a 200 yard sighting line.

If you have any queries, please get in touch with competition organiser Peter Locke.
