Mike Batty, of Farncombe & Godalming Rifle Club has won the Surrey Long Range prone rifle Championship on countback from David Crispin (Bookham R.C.) in a close run and windy final at Bookham Rifle Club's ranges on 25 September 2011. The matching scores of 390 ex 400 were split by awarding the championship to the shooter with the better score at 100 yards in the single dewar competition (20 shots at 50m and 20 shots at 100 yards). The final saw another tie break, with competition organiser Tim Hammond (Bookham R.C.) taking third position from Alison Leech (Wimbledon Park Rifle Club) in a count back of their identical 388 scores using inner 'X' rings at 100 yards.

The postal stages of the competition were won in classes: A. Keith Murray (Bookham RC - 390), B. Neil Granger (Farncombe & Godalming RC - 385) and C. David Panchaud (Croydon Rifle and Pistol Club - 385).
