The Surrey County Small Bore Rifle Association ran its now traditional Surrey Air Gun Meeting at the Lord Roberts Centre, Bisley on the weekend of 23rd and 24th November 2024.

The event ran alongside the English Smallbore Shooting Union championship in a new collaboration. The joint results can be found here.

Cooperation between Surrey, ESSU and NSRA made for a successful and competitive event and we thank all the volunteers – too numerous to mention – for all their hard work in making the weekend both possible and enjoyable.

After an enjoyable event last year, we return to the Surrey Rifle Association Clubhouse at Bisley Camp. Everyone’s welcome and it’s easy to book and there’s a festive menu choice to tempt you.

Why not get a group together from your club, or just come along and meet shooting friends old and new, eat well and celebrate the winners of the historic trophies… and maybe even make an early start to Christmas?

• Smoked Salmon & Avocado Tartare (with capers and toasted bread)
• Crispy Duck Noodle salad (fresh crunchy vegetable)

Main

• Roast Turkey served with duck roast potatoes, maple roast carrots parsnips and brussels sprouts, pigs in blankets, herbal stuffing, and homemade gravy 
• Braised Leg of Lamb served with roast potatoes, maple roast carrots, parsnips and Brussels sprouts, gravy

The tickets are £35, intended just to cover costs, and there will be a raffle to raise funds for a good cause (tbc) so if you would like to contribute to the raffle, please do bring a prize, however large or small.
