2021 Surrey Air Gun Meeting and annual dinner cancelled

Oct 21, 2021

Surrey County Small Bore Rifle Association regrets to announce that both its annual Bisley Air Gun Meeting and annual dinner will be cancelled again this year as a result of surging Covid infection and death rates.

The Government has not yet imposed additional control measures, but has indicated that these may come if the public doesn’t voluntarily take steps, including limiting social gatherings to outside.

The British Medical Association and other credible commentators have expressed serious concern about the growing numbers and the impact on the health service and public health more generally and SCSBRA has taken the view that it must play its part by limiting indoor gatherings such as these.

We apologise to all those who were hoping to participate and attend and we very much hope that 2022 will mark a return to relative normality.
